Community Garden
Visitors are always welcome at the Parkallen Community Garden, located at 110th street and 65th Ave NW on the southern-most side of Ellingson Park.
Unlike most community gardens, the PCG is planted, tended and harvested collectively. No individual plots are assigned.
At any time of year, gardeners of all ages (0-120) are welcome to participate in group or self-directed gardening at the PCG.
We practice permaculture methods including organic gardening (no pesticides, no fertilizer), composting, no-till (we disturb the soil as little as possible), rain-water catchment, bio-diversity, community building and inclusivity.
Join our mailing list to receive updates about gardening events, scheduled workbees, and workshops at the Parkallen Community Garden.
