Garden Mural Unveiling

Thanks to everyone who helped out, and our generous funders, Kaylyn Hardstaff is gearing up to install our new Garden Mural. This beautiful addition to our park will be placed along the north side of the rink, right behind our Community Garden. To celebrate the unveiling, and the end of our summer playground program, we’re inviting everyone to join us for some games, some BBQ and maybe a short speech or two :)

Plan to be there, this Friday, August 30, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..

Many thanks to the Edmonton Arts Council and Capital City CleanUp for the funding; everyone who came out to help design the mural; volunteers from the Westwood Unitarian Church, University of Alberta Community Service Learning Program, and or own Parkallen Community League; and to the Parkallen Knitters who very kindly shared their space with Kaylyn while she painted the boards!

This initiative was designed and produced by Kaylyn Hardstaff, with help from your Community League Executive. When communities work together - beautiful things happen.
